Kustom Sublimation is owned and operated by Dane and Tammy Dupuis. The idea arose as we searched for a unique way to reface the front of our kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. With a love of the ocean, we contacted our family friend, Ken Kiefer to find an underwater fish scene to display across our cabinetry. After trying to car wrap and digital print on aluminum sheets, it just didn’t look good enough.
So, after weeks of learning about sublimation, we realized that this is what we needed to do to get the desired quality we sought. Shortly thereafter, we had a printer delivered and with an old t-shirt heat press, we sublimated our very first metal prints. After two months of waiting, our 66” heat press arrived and this was when the real art creation commenced.
